Winter Weather Advisory - N&W Park Co - Cancelled

... Winter Weather Advisory in effect from 11 PM this evening to
5 PM MST Friday...

* what... snow and blowing snow expected. Plan on slippery Road
conditions and areas of poor visibility. Total snow
accumulations of 4 to 8 inches, with localized amounts up to 12
inches, are expected.

* Where... Rabbit Ears Pass, Rocky Mountain National Park and the
Medicine Bow range and the mountains of Summit County, the
Mosquito Range, and the Indian Peaks.

* When... from 11 PM this evening to 5 PM MST Friday.

* Additional details... winds gusting as high as 50 mph will cause
areas of blowing and drifting snow, especially through the
mountain passes.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow and blowing snow means periods
of snow and blowing snow will cause primarily travel
difficulties. Be prepared for snow covered roads and limited
visibilities, and use caution while driving. The latest Road
conditions for the state you are calling from can be obtained by
calling 5 1 1.

* what... light to moderate snow and periods of blowing snow will
continue into this afternoon. Roads will be slippery and
possibly snow covered, especially over bridges and overpasses.
In addition, areas of poor visibility are expected due to
falling and blowing snow. Additional snow accumulations of 3 to
6 inches, with localized amounts up to 9 inches, are expected
by late this afternoon.

* Where... Rabbit Ears Pass, Rocky Mountain National Park and the
Medicine Bow range and the mountains of Summit County, the
Mosquito Range, and the Indian Peaks.

* When... until 5 PM MST this afternoon.

* Additional details... winds gusting as high as 55 mph will
cause areas of blowing and drifting snow.
