Guffey Appreciates Pay it Forward

Thanks to all of you that graciously donated, exuberantly volunteered and have allowed all of us to continue to pay it forward. It was a huge success. HUGE. Many families, individuals and precious pets were helped. Less worries about grocery, gas and firewood bills. More concerns about loving and giving. All the donations were fantastic.

Special thanks to the donor who thought of the towels and bath basket. The recipient was thrilled and is still smiling and singing your praise.

Another special thanks to the anonymous ladies from Denver who brought a whole truck load of groceries. If you know them, please tell how much it was appreciated . There was SO MUCH the recipients were able to take the extra and received the special gift of PAYING IT FORWARD.

Note: In 2007, CBS4Denver awarded $1,000 to Amy Mason in their 'Pay it 4ward' program. Mason used the money to help neighbors in Guffey survive economic challenges. This year's event was locally organized to again help the community on a private level.
