On Thursday, May 8, Judge Stephen Groome issued an arrest warrant for Jeffrey Scott Hawn of Austin Texas, according to a news release from the Park County Sheriff.
The charges listed are Theft as a Class 3 Felony - 1 Count, Criminal Mischief, a Class 3 Felony - 1 Count, and Aggravated Cruelty to Animals a Class 6 Felony - 32 Counts.
These charges stem from an incident involving the slaughter of privately-owned buffalo on private and government land in March of this year.
