Update: April 12, 2010
Announced on Monday, Mark Dowaliby will attempt to petition onto the Republican primary ballot for Commissioner, District 3. Tammy Michelle Davis will attempt to petition onto the Republican primary ballot for County Coroner.
---------------------------------------
April 11, 2010
Each candidate must receive at least 30% of the assembly vote in order to be placed automatically on the August primary ballot. All candidates who receive 10% or more may circulate a petition to have their names added to the primary ballot. The results on Saturday guarantee a primary election for Assessor between incumbent David Wissel and Alma Mayor Gary Goettelman, and a primary between incumbent Sheriff Fred Wegener and challenger Michael Graves. All other races could result in a primary if one or more of the candidates choose to petition onto the ballot, or if a Republican who didn't run at assembly chooses to circulate a petition.
As candidates declare an intention to petition, we will adjust the candidates list.
