Jenny Wissel, teen daughter of Park County Assessor Dave Wissel, is now awake and breathing on her own, following an auto accident in which she was seriously injured last Friday. Friends of the family report that Jenny is able to move around, though not out of bed. She recognizes and acknowledges friends and family who have come to visit.

A 17 year old student at South Park High School, Jenny suffered a serious head injury in an accident near her Silverheels home last Friday afternoon. A pickup truck driven by another local resident impacted the driver's side of Jenny's car. Jenny was Life Flighted out to Penrose Main Hospital in Colorado Springs, where she continues to be closely watched.
