SOUTHERN PARK COUNTY FIRE GETS WATER DONATION

Joe Adams of Sharpe Express

Deep Rock Water of Denver has donated a pallet load of drinking water to the firefighters of the Southern Park County Fire Protection District in Guffey. Joseph Adams of Sharpe Express, Denver, heard that the firefighters needed the drinking water when fighting fires. He contacted Bob Holstead of Deep Rock Water and solicited the donation, then delivered it to the fire district.

Keeping firefighters hydrated on fires and other incidents in the summer heat requires a lot of drinking water. Every district fire truck and ambulance carries at least a case of drinking water and the district's Rehabilitation Truck, operated by the SPCFPD Auxiliary, carries two to three cases of water. This donation by Deep Rock Water and Sharpe Express should last through the summer fire season.
