COMING OUT OF RETIREMENT TO HELP PARK COUNTY!!

After a great number of years of receiving the benefits of this wondrous rural county, enjoying its diverse outdoor activities, the neighborly Helping Hand extended constantly, the friendly wave as we pass by each other, I have decided to "come out of my retirement", which means giving up my passion of riding my beautiful 20 year old Arabian Gelding daily, having my dogs running with me on the trails of the Pike National Forest, and GETTING INVOLVED to give back what I am able to give through my experience and knowledge, to PARK COUNTY.

On Saturday Evening April 26th at the Republican Lincoln Day Dinner at the Jefferson Community Center, I announced my intentions to launch a Petition to enter the race against a gentleman named Richard Hodges, in an attempt to capture the Republican nod as candidate for Park County Commissioner for District 2. I was in attendance at the meeting at the Jefferson Community Center when I observed that Mr. Hodges received the Republican Nomination by acclamation, as no one seemed to want to get involved or oppose him. I didn't think this was a fair representation of the District or even of the County, being only those who were able to attend or interested in being involved enough to attend the meetings. Feeling that the entire county would be affected, therefore the entire population of Park County needed a CHOICE, After careful consideration, thought and discussion with the lovely woman who shares my life, Lynn, I decided to give it my all, to understand the problems, needs, and concerns of all of the people of Park County.

You may find me searching for Registered Republican Voters anywhere in the county as I try to meet each and every one of you, and secure the necessary signatures. But if you don't see me, please check out my humble web site at http://www.ronspunt4dist2commish.com.

I would also appreciate any E-mails with questions about your concerns, for me to address at Spuntron@msn.com or you can call me at (303) 816-1025, especially if you would like to meet me and sign my Petition to get on the Ballot for the Primary Election. If I am successful in securing the necessary 210 Registered Republican Signatures by May 29th, it assures you the Residents of Park County, a CHOICE of whom you would like to be making decisions on your behalf. You will find me to be extremely interested in your comments and opinions.
