Four years ago I asked for your support in my endeavor to become your County Commissioner in District 1. I was both honored and privileged to be nominated and then elected to that position. Although inexperienced as a Commissioner when I started, I believe that my efforts over the last 3 years have greatly increased the leadership skills that I possessed then and fine tuned them for what is needed now. Today I have a working knowlege of what the position entails and the continuity that my experience affords. I will continue to strive for open communication WITH the community and the residents of Park County. I have been and will continue to build public trust in the County Commissioners by being accessible and accountable to the citizens of this great county.

I believe that leadership and decision making skills are an important part of successful government. Over the past 3 years, I have had to make some very difficult decisions. These were made only after careful consideration, researching and studying all materials relevant to the situation. I have proven to be a Commissioner for Park County, not for any one special interest group. A good leader knows why a decision was made and can support it, be it popular or unpopular.

As the incumbent for County Commissioner, District 1, I am asking for your support this election year. I believe that I am an asset to the constituents of Park County. My integrity stands intact, my leadership skills and knowledge of the county have grown immensely, and I am highly committed to continuing efforts in forming partnerships with the public, the Chambers of Commerce and businesses within the community while working co-operatively with my fellow commissioners to promote Park County's interests.
