• Fourth Generation Colorado Native
• Grew up in Gilpin County, around the Black Hawk Central City area, on my grandfather's ranch.
• Graduated from Nederland High School.
• Former member of the Gilpin County Search and Rescue.
• Mother was in Social Services, Court Bailiff, an EMT and County Coroner.
• Father is presently Black Hawk City Alderman.
• Always lived in the Mountains and understand small community, rural living.
• Hobbies are camping, ATVing, small and large game and bird hunting, wood working, and a variety of automotive projects.
• Lived in the 285 corridor for 24 years, more than 14 in Park County... 1984-91 Burland, 2002-present Deer Creek Valley Ranchos.
• Working for Lockheed Martin Space Systems and have been in the Defense of our country for 29 years, presently 4 years in both Defense and NASA programs Production Planning.
• Went to night school while employed and obtained my degree in digital electronics and computer science.
• Work with government contracts and familiar with costs, budgets and schedules.

Those are my qualifications now, "Why do I want to win this elected position?"

- When I entered the corporate world years ago, got married, went to school and traveled extensively for business, I lost touch with community. I was busy "living the dream!" But I always vote religiously at every opportunity, even if it's sometimes necessary to vote absentee.

- I believe in "we the people" controlling our government, not the oversized government running this country.

- I see mis-use of perceived power and every entity has their hands out ... Fire Dept, Sheriff's Dept., road and bridge, school district.

- I'm not a politician, I'm a citizen. Unlike Washington - Congress and the President - the decisions I make will affect my life as well as the public's.

- I would like to be a catalyst in getting our state and country back in the people's hands. This position is an opportunity to do so at a neighborhood level.

- Stop these insider decision makers from continuing to raise taxes, mis-handle funds and spend OPM (Other People's Money) - my money and your money.
