Winter Weather Advisory - N & W Park County

... Winter Weather Advisory in effect from 5 am Wednesday to 5 PM MST Thursday...

* what... snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 7 to 14
inches expected. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph.

* Where... Rocky Mountain National Park and the Medicine Bow
range and the mountains of Summit County, the Mosquito Range,
and the Indian Peaks.

* When... from 5 am Wednesday to 5 PM MST Thursday.

* Additional details... travel could be very difficult. Patchy
blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. The
hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening
commute.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means periods of snow will
cause primarily travel difficulties. Expect snow covered roads
and limited visibilities, and use caution while driving.

The latest Road conditions for the state you are calling from can

midnight hour. Total snow accumulations 7 to 15 inches. Winds
gusting as high as 55 mph with blowing snow.

* Where... the mountains of Summit County, the Mosquito Range,
and the Indian Peaks and Rocky Mountain National Park and the
Medicine Bow range.

* When... until 5 PM MST Thursday.

* Additional details... travel could be very difficult. Road
closures are possible. Areas of blowing snow could
significantly reduce visibility.
