Winter Weather Advisory - N&W Park County

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 3 PM THIS AFTERNOON TO 6 AM MDT WEDNESDAY... Includes N&W Park County

* WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 4 to 8 inches,
with locally heavier amounts in the mountains and foothills of
Larimer County. Valley locations of Summit County will likely see
lower totals of just 2 to 4 inches.

* WHERE...Rocky Mountain National Park and the Medicine Bow Range,
The Mountains of Summit County, the Mosquito Range, and the Indian
Peaks, and The Northern Front Range Foothills.

* WHEN...From 3 PM this afternoon to 6 AM MDT Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be hazardous with slick and slushy roads
during the heavier snow showers late this afternoon, but mainly
overnight as temperatures drop below freezing.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Slow down and use caution while traveling. The latest road
conditions for Colorado can be obtained by calling 5 1 1 or by going
to www.cotrip.org
