Winter Weather Advisory - Includes S, Central, N&W Park County

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM MDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Snow ongoing. Additional snow accumulations between 3 and 6
inches.

* WHERE...The Mountains of Summit County, the Mosquito Range, and
the Indian Peaks, and South Park.

* WHEN...Snow will continue this morning and will be heavy at times,
especially in Park county. This afternoon the snow will diminish
to showers, but some heavy showers are expected with additional
accumulation likely.

* IMPACTS...Travel will be difficult at times with slushy roads and
poor visibility in the heavier showers. Roads affected will
include Interstate 70 between Georgetown and Vail Pass and US
highways 285 and 24 in Park county.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Slow down and use caution while traveling. Allow extra time for
travel in these areas today. The latest road conditions for Colorado
can be obtained by calling 5 1 1 or by going to www.cotrip.org.
