...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 645 PM MDT THIS EVENING...
* WHAT...Small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is
expected.
* WHERE...Portions of central and northeast Colorado, including the
following counties, in central Colorado, Park. In northeast
Colorado, Douglas and Jefferson.
* WHEN...Until 645 PM MDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 450 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain. This is
causing small stream flooding. Between 1 and 2.5 inches of
rain have fallen.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Cheesman Reservoir and Tarryall.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
