...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM NOON TODAY TO 5 PM MST TUESDAY...

* WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 5 and 10
inches, with local amounts up to 12 inches possible for the
highest elevations. Winds gusting as high as 50 mph on Monday.

* WHERE...The Mountains of Summit County, the Mosquito Range, and
the Indian Peaks.

* WHEN...From Noon today to 5 PM MST Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Roads will likely become slick and hazardous. Travel
could be very difficult.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Slow down and use caution while traveling. The latest road
conditions for Colorado can be obtained by calling 5 1 1 or by going
to www.cotrip.org.

Roads will be slick resulting in slow and hazardous travel. Allow
extra time to reach your destination.

Chain and traction laws will possibly be enacted for the mountains.
If traveling to the mountains, be prepared for winter driving
conditions.
