I notice John Tight isn't listed. I remember that Tight and Walker were the most expensive commissioners this county ever had. All that spending was going on while Gore was undersheriff. I don't want to see Tight or Gore now in charge of the most expensive department the county has. We'll be broke pretty damn fast if they get their hands on that much of our tax money.

All the websites are read and options looked at. I know 2 I don't want, so that narrowed my choices. My ballot just arrived.

I've decided to go with Gary Rhoads for Sheriff.

I admit that sometimes I avoid candidates based on who is supporting them in a big way. It gives me a clue of how they would act in office. Rhoads was local CSP and I spoke with him back then. He was professional, courteous and helpful. He is also very experienced. I think that's quite a lot of reason to vote for him, so that's what I'll do.
