Flood Advisory
National Weather Service Denver CO
225 PM MDT Thu Jul 25 2019
The National Weather Service in Denver Colorado has issued a

* Small Stream Flood Advisory for...
The Weston Pass Burn Scar in West central Park County in central
Colorado...

* Until 330 PM MDT.

* At 223 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms over the Weston Pass Burn Scar. This will cause
small stream flooding in the advisory area.

* Flooding will remain over the mainly rural areas of west central
Park County.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Move away from recently burned areas. Life threatening flooding of
creeks, roads and normally dry arroyos is likely. The heavy rains
will likely trigger rockslides, mudslides and debris flows in steep
terrain, especially in and around these areas.
